Install Quora for Business with Google Tag Manager

Installing Quora for Business has just gotten better and easier with a native template. Previously, you had to install the script with a custom HTML in Google Tag Manager. Now you can do this in 6 easy steps.

Step 1: Setup your Quora for Business account

If you already have an account, you can skip this step and jump to step 2. If you don’t, then open an account with Quora.

At the end of the registration, you can go to this URL to access Quora for Business.

Step 2: Setup your business information

Before you can integrate Google Tag Manager, you need to complete the business information on Quora. Add all the following mandatory fields:

  • Account Name

  • Business Email

  • Currency

  • Business Name

  • Website URL

  • Industry

  • Business Address

Step 3: Configure your Quora Pixel

In your Ad Manager go to Pixels & Conversions and click to “Setup Pixel”. This is what you will need to add int your GTM account.

At this point Quora will ask you if you want to Install Manually or with a Partner. Choose to install with the Partner and click continue:

Finally, you can just copy your Pixel ID in your clipboard.

Step 4: Setup Quora Pixel with Google Tag Manager

Now there is a native template for Quora. The implementation is much easier than before. Follow the steps below:

  1. Click Tags

  2. Choose New

  3. Click Tag Configuration and choose and select Quora Pixel

  4. In the Quora Pixel configuration Window, insert the Pixel ID

  5. Click the triggering

  6. Select Page View

  7. Make sure you name and Save.

Step 5: Preview Google Tag Manager

  1. After saving the tag, click Preview Mode

  2. Load your website

  3. In the debug Console, check to see that your Quora Pixel Tag is firing on page view

  4. Publish your changes.

Step 6: check the Pixel is working

  1. Go back to your Quora Business account

  2. In the Pixels & Conversions you should see the Events firing

  3. Job done!
